Most beer fans will already be familiar with London institution The Euston Tap, a small but mighty beer bar in a Victorian gatehouse next to Euston station. Until recently, the East Lodge directly opposite was home to The Cider Tap, run by the same folk of course, but they’ve now decided to focus this second space on beer too, with 20 more taps of the good stuff flowing (8 cask and 12 keg). That brings the total across both sites to 47 beers on draught – not too shabby. On a recent visit, they had a great range on offer from the likes of Brew By Numbers, Cloudwater and Magic Rock, with plenty more in the fridges. There’s not a lot of room but you’ll live – station pubs don’t get much better than this!
