I finally upgraded my camera gear at the end of 2017 after a year of scrounging lovely lenses and Canon bodies off close friends. I’m now shooting with a Canon 5D Mark IV and a 24-70 mm f2.8 lens, and I’ve got a lot to learn! Not least because I’ve decided to attempt to make some videos too. To that end, I called upon fellow camera geeks Ali and Maggie to join me in Richmond Park for an extremely slow-paced, photography heavy walk. The golden hour light was magical, Glenmorangie-filled hip flasks warmed us up, and the promise of a drink at Micro Beers kept us going. Most of our time was spent trying to recreate Gladiator’s wheat field scene without falling over – I think we just about managed to be more Russell Crowe than Theresa May. Enjoy!
