On a recent trip to the States, I only had one night to explore Washington DC. Whilst that’s clearly not enough time to experience the city properly, it did give me a chance to walk down the famous National Mall at sunset with my camera, taking in the Capitol, the Smithsonian, the Washington Monument, the National WW2 Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial.
